This is Rare & Antique Original Vintage French Shabby Chic Boudoir Accent Needlepoint Chair. This piece is from an earlier period of the 1800s or late 1700s from France. It was Beautifully made & sits on nicely rounded tapered legs with fluted rim work and spindle carved supports at the bottom. The seat was originally a wicker chair and has an old needlepoint tapestry. The backrest has a nice Ladderback design with a Floral Ribbonback Motif at the center back splat with Paint Decorated Trim that was made in Meticulous Details from the Time Period. The chair has old repairs as referenced in the photos along with its original finish which is worn & the seat that needs to be professionally cleaned or recovered due to natural age & patina & is All Original. This was made of Quality & Craftmanship no longer done today. Please keep in mind this is All Original and has some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its Age. Overall its in Great Condition as shown in the Photos.
