This is a Rare & Antique Original Vintage Oil Painting that was signed by Frank Bigelow (19th/20th Century) who was a Well known Artist from the Era. This comes in its Original Gilded Carved Frame of Museum Size & Quality measuring almost 3 Feet Wide with its Original Gallery Label on the Back & Titled “Tranquility”. It is an Original Oil on Canvas Painting depicting a Beautiful Hudson School Landscape with Floral Foliage accented throughout the Painting that was done in Meticulous Details from the Time Period. The frame is original to the painting with some gilt loss. The painting itself and has some craquelure due to natural age with a small repair. It also has a double canvas stamp on the back which the ink has worn over the ages as shown in the photos. His work has been exhibited throughout the US & Europe & are held in Corporate & Private Collections. This came from a Private Collection which makes it very Rare due to its Size, Age & Beauty. Please keep in mind this is All Original and may have some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. Overall its in Great Condition and All shown in the photos.
