This is a Rare & Original Double Sided Oil Painting Attributed to Marc Chagall (1887 – 1985) who is a World Renowned Artists from the Era & Listed in Many Art Indices throughout the World. This is an Original Oil on Masonite Board Painting of Museum Size & Quality Measuring Over 3 Feet High. Its an unsigned Two Sided Hidden Painting depicting a nice Figurative Illustration and the reverse has the hidden painting in its Original WPA Frame that was painted in Meticulous Details from the Time Period. It has an Original Gallery Label from New York City with the Old Zip Code in Chelsea. Chagall’s style is characterized for his Dreamlike imagery, vibrant colors, and whimsical blend of Fantasy & Reality and his works have been exhibited in Museums & Galleries throughout the World and are held in Corporate & Private Collections. The painting was concealed from view with the original brown paper lining on the back that was brittle from age. It was absolutely stunning when we removed it and discovered the painting on the back. This came from the Private Collection of Mildred Simonson Simone (1898-1997) which makes it very Rare Due to its Size, Age & Beauty. Please keep in mind this is All Original and may have some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. Overall its in Great Condition & All shown in the Photos & Video.
