This is a Rare & Vintage Original Signed Sculpture by Margaret Swartzman (20th Century) New York based Artist who was an Award Winning Sculptor. This is an Original Signed Terracotta Sculpture with an Engraved Titled on the back “Folklore Fables & Fairytales” Depicting a Female figure with Children on each Side with Beautiful Contour & Colors and a nice Pose & Posture of the Sculpture and the small Figurative Illustration of Children on both sides and her back that was done in Meticulous Details from the Time Period. There are images enclosed in the listing of photos showing the Artists Or iginal Catalogues including the Brooklyn Museum, Award Certificates from the Salmagundi Club, Original Newspaper clips, Exhibitions, Catalogs, Leagues, Clubs and other Documents showing her many achievements as an Artist that date back to the 1950s as shown in the photos. This came from a Private Collection Directly from the Artists Estate which makes it very Rare due to it Size, Age & Beauty. It comes with documentation about the artist as most of her sculptures were done during the Mid Century. Please keep in mind this is All Original and may have some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. Overall its in Great Condition and All shown in the photos.
