This is a Rare & Original Signed Sculpture by Margaret Swartzman (20th Century) New York based Artist who was an Award Winning Sculptor. This is an Original Signed Terracotta Sculpture Depicting a Figural Grouping which is Signed at the bottom with Beautiful Contour. Its Titled at the Base “Eden” with an Engraved Plaque as shown in the photos. Her Works Have Been Exhibited throughout the World & also Held in Corporate & Private Collections. This was done in Beautiful Pose & Posture with nice shape and contour that was done in Meticulous Details from the Time Period. There are the original Catalogues from the Brooklyn Museum, Lincoln Center of Performing Arts, Awards & Certificates from the Salmagundi Club, Original Newspaper articles, Exhibitions, Art Leagues, Clubs and her many achievements as a New York Artist that date back to the 1950s as shown in the photos. This came from a Private Collection Directly from the Artists Estate which makes it very Rare due to it Size, Age & Beauty. It comes with documentation about the artist as most of her sculptures were done during the Mid Century. Please keep in mind this is All Original and may have some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. Overall its in Great Condition and All shown in the photos.
