This is a Rare & Original Color Lithograph by John Henry Bufford & Sons (19th Century) who was a Well Known Artist, Printmaker, Lithographer & Illustrator. This Piece comes in Gilded Carved Frame Under Glass & Dated Circa 1873. It is a Depiction of a Mother & Child in an Interior Setting that was done in Meticulous Details from the Time Period. The Bottom of the Lithograph which has Hand Color Highlights Reads “Entered According to Act of Congress on the Year 1873 By J.H. Bufford & Sons in The Office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington”. The Frame is Original to the Piece and has Gilt Loss. The Lithograph is also original and has some wear and foxing due to its natural age. This comes from a Private Collection which makes it very rare due to its Size, Age & Beauty. Please keep in mind this is All Original and has some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. Overall its in Great Condition & All shown in the photos.
