This comes in its Original Wood Carved Frame that has Beautiful Inlays and Carved with nice Floral Décor Designs that was nicely set Framed Under Glass with a Silk Linen Matting Around the edges. The painting depicts a Beautiful Sail Ship in the Water with Various Original Postage Stamps from All Over the World Creatively and Meticulously done on the Sail Masts as well as the hull of the boat as well as the Mountain in the Horizon with Beautiful Shades of Tonalism. The Mountains have Dwight Eisenhower accented around the edges and a Floating Glass Bottle in the Water that looks like the Dome on Capitol Hill which also comes from Philately Stamp Collage that was nicely done from the time period and brings out the Creativity in the Painting. The Beauty of Art is all in the Eye of the Beholder. The painting has beautiful Color Tones that gives it Great Depth and Dimension to the details as shown in the photos. Please keep in mind this is an Old piece that is ORIGINAL and may have some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. The glass on the frame has a horizontal scuff mark on the surface but not on the piece itself. The frame is Beautifully Done and nicely gilded with floral carved trim work accented throughout and is also old and has some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age but overall is in great shape. This comes with its frame which is original to the piece and also old and should be reframed or rematted at your discretion.
Overall Framed it measures approx. 13 3/4 inches high and approx. 12 inches wide. This came from a Private Estate in New York and was BEAUTIFULLY MADE of the Highest Quality and Craftmanship that can be handed down to Generations.
