He is Wreathed in the folds of a Large Cloak which Billows in the Wind on a Mountain Top. The Piece Itself is Finished on All Sides so it can be Displayed Anywhere in a Room. This was Beautifully Done with Great Depth & Dimension to the Details of Quality and Craftmanship No Longer Found Today. Its a Beautiful Piece that is Very Rare and Intricate in Detail & Design & Highly Collectable. This is A Rare & Original Antique Polychrome Porcelain Napoleon Statue of Museum Size & Quality that is Over 100 Years Old & Stands Over 2 Feet Tall with its Original Hallmark Made By Scheibe Alsbach. This Dates Back to Pre 1891 and comes from the Early Scheibe Alsbach with its Impressed Hallmark and comes from the same School & Quality of Meissen Dresden KPM (Kister Porcelain Manufacturer) with its Original Beautiful Finish and Made of The Finest Quality. Napoleon Bonaparte Mounted in the Uniform of a General in Chief, Wearing a Gold-Trimmed Bicorne, & Armed with a Mamluk-Style Sword. He is Wreathed in the folds of a Large Cloak which Billows in the Wind on a Mountain Top. With Beautiful Engraved Details from His Gloves and his Hair Blowing in the Wind with All of His Regalia on his Persona and Beautiful Horse was just beautifully done. On the Rocks is Engraved Inscription on the Base Bonaparte, Hannibal, Karlovs Magnvs Imp. Hannibal was a reference to The Carthaginian General and Statesman who Commanded Carthage’s main Army against Rome and Widely considered one of the Greatest Military Commanders in World History. Karlovs Magnvs Imp is referenced to Charlemagne aka Charles the Great. The Bottom Base Has a Beautiful Rock Design with Beautiful Gilt Trim Work with “Napoleon Bonaparte for Consul Au Passage Des Alpes” at the Front. The Scheibe Alsbach Hallmark is Engraved at the Back Prior to the McKinley Tariff Act of 1890 without the Country of Origin as shown in the photos (Anything After 1891 will have the Country of Origin Hallmarked in the Porcelain).
The Piece Itself is Finished on All Sides so it Makes for an Excellent Centerpiece that can be Displayed Anywhere in a Room. This was Beautifully Done of The Highest Quality with Great Depth and Dimension to the Details of Quality and Craftmanship No Longer Found Today.
