This is a Rare & Original Signed 19th Century Antique Oil Painting of Abraham Lincoln in a Beautiful Tortoise Shell Boulle Inlaid & Gilded Bronze Frame. Its an Original Painting that is Artist Signed & Attributed to Jean Louis Forain (1852-1931) who is a well listed Artist in many Indices throughout the World. It Depicts a Portrait of Abraham Lincoln as the 16th President of the United States. It Comes in a Beautiful Gilt Bronze Inlaid Boulle Frame with Fleur De Lis & Floral Décor throughout the Frame. The Painting has Curved Convex Glass Around the Painting with Gilded Bronze Dore Trim Work that was done in Meticulous Details from the Time Period. This Painting may have even been done while the President was still alive which would make it even more intriguing, This comes from a Private Collection which is very Rare due to its Size, Age & Beauty. Please keep in mind this is All Original and may have some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age. Overall in Great Condition and All shown in the photos.
