This is a Rare & Antique Vintage Original 19th Century Frank Leslie’s Illustrated Newspaper Color Lithograph by Frank Leslie (1821-1880) who was Founder of the Paper & Well Listed Artist in Many Indices. It comes in a Wood Inlaid Frame Under Glass & Dated April 28, 1883. Its Titled “Lashing the Stays of the Brooklyn Bridge” & is a Color Lithograph depicting a Figurative Landscape & Harbor Illustration that was done Meticulous Details from the Time Period. The Mat is original and is stained at the lower right corner shown in the photos. This is an Original Color Lithograph which is a Rarity & has its own Wikipedia page & Catalogued at the Library of Congress & has been Exhibited in Museums throughout the World and many of these are Held in Corporate & Private Collections. This piece comes from a Private Estate which makes it very Rare Due to its Size, Age & Beauty.
