Original Hand Woven Tapestry in Gilded Carved Frame From The 1800sThis is an ORIGINAL Hand Woven Renaissance Tapestry that dates back to the 19th Century. It has a Beautiful Embroidery Design that was hand made depicting a scene of the Beautiful time period in the interior of a home from the Large Fireplace in the background and beautiful Architectural Details & Designs with an open window to the side that shows light coming through. The details from the Beautiful Objects and Décor to the Furniture in the surroundings was All very well done. Each Figure in the Tapestry was Beautifully done with their own facial features and expressions down to the details in the clothing from the time period. The Frame is Beautifully Gilded and Carved with a Nice Floral Décor pattern and Beautifully Carved Ancathus leaves that border throughout the Frame as shown In the photos. The Frame itself is also from the 1800s and is All Original and does have minor Gilt wear and loss with imperfections consistent with its age that can also be shown in the photos. The Beauty of Art is all in the Eye of the Beholder. This piece has beautiful Color Tones that gives it Great Depth and Dimension to the details as shown in the photos. Please keep in mind This is All Original that date back to the 1800s and may have some minor wear and imperfections consistent with its age but Overall is in Great Condition as shown in the photos.
Overall Framed it measures approx. 21 1/2 inches high and approx. 25 inches wide.
